Specializing in small and medium sized events, our mission is to make event planning services accessible to all party hosts - whether you are planning a wedding, birthday party, baby shower, or corporate networking reception, we are here to help make the entire process a reason to celebrate.
Meet Dawn
After “retiring” from a career as a lawyer, Dawn joined the restaurant industry in 2018, learning everything she could about fine food, wine & cocktails and excellent hospitality and service skills. Now, with over three years of experience planning events of all types and sizes in Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, Dawn is eager to bring event planning services to a wider audience. With a keen eye for detail, nerves of steel, and expert organizational skills, you can trust her to manage all aspects of your event with professionalism, precision and a bit of sparkle.

First Light offers a wide variety of event planning services:
- Full Service Wedding Planning (up to 2 years prior to the event) - Starting at $2500
- Limited Service Wedding Planning (up to 6 months prior to the event, venue already secured) - Starting at $1500
- Day-Of Wedding Coordination - Starting at $1000
- Full Service Planning for All Other Events - showers, birthday parties, wedding weekend events, corporate receptions, corporate dinners, etc. for events up to 150 guests. - Starting at $250
Additional Services:
Wedding Officiant - $600
